The workshop entitled “Penulisan Artikel Jurnal Terakreditasi Nasional dan Jurnal Internasional Terindeks” was held online on November 10th, 2020 by the Master Program  in Communication Science FISIP UNDIP through the Zoom  platform.

Along with Prof. Dr. Rajab Ritonga, M.Si as the Editor in Chief of the ISKI Communication Journal, he did not deny that research had become a necessity at every level of education, namely at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. According to him, publishing a research through journal was an added value for the students’ graduation, as well as the capability of the academics in contributing to develop the knowledge. So that, any interaction  and scientific dialogue might occur, as well as the use of research findings for further development of the knowledge and the making of decision and policy.

Rajab said, if somebody wanted their researches to be published in journals both on a national and international scale, a researcher’s knowledge on what he wanted to do, the methods used and a clear understanding of the impact of the research was needed.

“There are some things that we must do when designing a study. The title must be interesting, because this is the concern of the journal’s editors. Besides, the abstract should not be too long, concise and clear. Just then, the reader will focuse on the topic of the discussion. Finally, there must be any novelty, since the editor will review the originality of the article you write, ” he said.
