The use of data and technology has a number of extraordinary benefits for organizations. On the other hand, this can also backfire for institutions and personnel if not managed properly. Artificial Intelligence (AI) or artificial intelligence is one example of technology that provides innovation and novelty. Digital marketing practitioners also need to pay close attention to its use. Artificial intelligence and big data will help digital marketing practitioners create efficient strategic communication designs, so they can reach the target audience directly. It is predicted that AI technology will also be used to carry out business and market intelligence, conduct information dissemination, and plan strategic communications.
Digital marketing practitioners must develop the ability to translate data into strategy and action. By using AI, practitioners can provide input on policies, assist with important decisions that companies need to make, and encourage behavior change more precisely. Even though digital data technology is increasingly needed, the expertise and basic work skills of practitioners in terms of human relations cannot be abandoned. This public lecture wants to look further at how AI and Big Data affect the digital marketing paradigm which is a process of adaptation of advances in information technology in the development of strategic communication studies.
