Media, Culture and Society Concentration and Strategic Communication Concentration
The Master of Communication Studies Program applies two learning approaches, namely:
1. By Course: students are required to attend lectures with a set curriculum structure.
2. By Research: students are not required to attend class lectures but are required to follow intensive guidance for each stage of thesis preparation.

Media, Culture and Society Concentration
Semester 1
In the first semester, Master of Communication Science students study communication theory, media ethics, and research methods. Studies also cover contemporary issues related to media, culture, and society to form an analytical and critical perspective.

In the second semester, students explore the political economy of media, digitalization, and issues of gender and sexuality. They also prepare a thesis proposal through a seminar that strengthens their analytical and research planning skills in the context of media, culture and society.

Strategic Communication Concentration
Semester 1
The first semester equips students with the theoretical foundations, philosophical approaches, and qualitative and quantitative research methods in strategic communication, including an understanding of contemporary issues relevant for communication analysis and planning in various social and professional contexts.
